Urban Mining: Where to find the GOOD STUFF

Urban Mining is a term I use for being able to find project furniture pieces, vintage home accessories and materials that cost very little or sometimes nothing at all! Being resourceful is key when taking on any project. Over the years, I’ve learned where the local “honey holes” are for these items and have local contacts that I will share with you! Some of these deals are right where you shop in town, but you have to know when and where to look! During class we will also learn how to break down a pallet into useable project lumber in under 5 minutes. IT’S FREE WOOD and IT’S EVERYWHERE!! Each person in class will break down their own pallet and take that wood home, neatly bundled.
